The Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden – have a combined population of around 27.8 million people. Despite their geographical differences, these countries share several demographic and health-related similarities. All Nordic countries have a healthcare system based on equal access, financed through the tax system, which ensures high-quality healthcare services for the population. At the same time, there is a common understanding of the importance of self-treatment and preventive health work, which helps to relieve the burden on the healthcare system and improve public health.
Healthcare in the Nordic region is under increasing pressure due to an aging population, increased incidence of chronic diseases and shorter hospital stays. That is why we believe that safe and effective self-treatment is crucial to relieve the burden on the system and give people a better quality of life. We bring new and well-documented medical products to the Nordic region, so that more people have access to modern treatments that really make a difference.
Pharma Nordic has licenses or distribution rights in the Nordic countries for innovative pharmaceuticals and medical devices. These products are already marketed elsewhere or are in the process of being launched outside the Nordic region. Our goal is to bring these innovative products to the Nordic region and make them available to our patients.
